Spill Kit Inspections.
A spill kit that has been raided is not a spill kit. We inspect your spill kits on site, anywhere in Auckland, replace missing or expired contents, and record every kit in your asset register, so they are ready on the day a spill happens.

A spill kit is only complete if every part of it is still there, and still usable, when it is needed.
What we check
- Contents complete — absorbent pads, socks and booms, PPE (gloves, goggles, mask), waste bags, scoop and instruction sheet, all present and matched to the kit type.
- Condition of contents — absorbents unused and uncontaminated, PPE undamaged, nothing perished or degraded.
- Kit integrity — container or bag intact, with any tamper seal unbroken. A broken seal is usually the first sign a kit has been used and not restocked.
- Suitability — the kit type matches the spill risk at that location: general purpose, oil and fuel, or chemical and acid.
- Accessibility and signage — the kit is stored close to the hazard, clearly labelled and easy to reach.
How we do it
We open and check every kit against its contents list, confirm the condition of each item, and reseal it. Anything missing, used or past its best is restocked or flagged on the spot. Because we carry stock, most kits are topped up during the same visit, not left short until a follow-up.
Spill kit inspection $85 + GST. Usually every 3 to 6 months, depending on site risk.
Site visit $150 + GST, including travel, full compliance reporting and physical inspection tags. Your first site visit is free.
